Suitest Highlights New AI-Powered Device Testing and Quality Assurance Capabilities at IBC2026

Suitest’s Test Automation Platform Simplifies Video Quality Assurance, Monitoring, and Device Certification Across the OTT Ecosystem

PRAGUE — Aug. 12, 2026 — At IBC2026, Suitest, a leading provider of test automation for OTT applications, will showcase the latest evolution of its AI-powered test platform for OTT providers, operators, and device manufacturers. New hardware, software, and cloud innovations from Suitest make enterprise-grade testing more accessible while simplifying quality assurance, live video monitoring, and automated device certification. The result is faster software releases, more reliable streaming services, and a consistently high-quality experience for viewers.

“Consumers expect streaming services to deliver a flawless experience regardless of the device they’re using, but achieving that is becoming increasingly complex,” said Mirko Nedeljković, CEO of Suitest. “At IBC2026, we’ll highlight how we’re helping operators continuously monitor the subscriber experience and automating certification processes for device manufacturers. Our goal is to provide every stakeholder in the TV ecosystem with faster feedback, greater confidence, and a more efficient path to delivering exceptional-quality streaming experiences.”

Expanding Access to Real-Device Testing
At IBC2026, Suitest is introducing AI-powered hardware and software solutions to reduce the cost and complexity of deploying enterprise-grade, real-device testing environments.

  • Compact HDMI capture: Suitest is transforming video monitoring with its new AI-accelerated HDMI capture device and camera, shown for the first time at IBC2026. When combined with the company’s TVafer high-density 1U rack enclosure, it allows users to build more space-efficient testing environments with significantly lower cost and reduced space requirements. Suitest’s new HDMI capture device and TVafer can be preordered now, with shipments starting right after IBC2026.
  • Public Device Cloud: Suitest’s Public Device Cloud now offers broader device availability and affordable access to remote manual testing and automation with lossless video quality streams across Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Android TV, Google TV, Fire TV, Roku, and more platforms coming soon.
  • AI testing: Suitest’s latest software release features new AI-powered capabilities, including an MCP server and AI Sight support for Android native applications.
  • Ottium for Apple TV: The company’s object-based, non-intrusive Ottium automation technology for Apple TV will be demonstrated at IBC and released shortly afterward.
  • Flexible pricing options: Flexible flat-rate pricing options for automated testing, video quality monitoring, and dedicated and public remote device access are now available in addition to the traditional usage-based model.

Continuous Quality Assurance for Operators
For network operators and pay-TV providers, Suitest is introducing a new quality assurance solution that combines continuous service monitoring, Android TV OS testing, and performance analytics in a unified workflow. By validating the subscriber experience and underlying TV platform on real consumer devices, Suitest helps operators identify issues earlier, accelerate troubleshooting, and deliver reliable TV services.

  • Nonstop live video monitoring: Suitest enables live video quality monitoring both directly from the network operations center and in field testing environments. Using the company’s TVafer or HDMI capture device, operators can automatically detect playback freezes, black screens, and visual artifacts on real devices.
  • Advanced performance analytics: Suitest’s integrated performance metrics provide engineering teams with objective measurements that help identify bottlenecks, compare software versions, and accelerate root-cause analysis.
  • Android TV testing: At IBC2026, Suitest will show how it is helping operators validate Android TV software updates, launcher, and live TV applications; identify issues before rollout; and maintain consistent performance across their entire device portfolio.

Accelerating Device Certification and Platform Validation
Today’s device manufacturers must complete more than 50 country- and operator-specific certification programs before bringing products to market. At IBC2026, Suitest is expanding its test platform to help smart TV and set-top box manufacturers automate traditionally manual, time-consuming, and resource-intensive certification workflows. Key highlights will include:

  • Automated device certification: Suitest streamlines this workflow by developing and maintaining automated certification test suites for operator programs, including the Freely operator application. Manufacturers can execute the scripts on preproduction and production devices and submit the results, dramatically reducing the effort required to achieve compliance while enabling continuous validation, earlier issue detection, faster debugging, and more reliable software releases.
  • Freely and DVB-I support: Everyone TV, the company behind Freely and a Suitest customer, now accepts certification results generated by Suitest’s automated test scripts. The Suitest platform will also support DVB-I and other operator-specific requirements.
  • Remote device diagnostics: With Suitest’s platform, engineers can remotely access device diagnostics, collect serial logs, execute debugging commands, and perform software updates without requiring physical access to devices, significantly reducing development time and operational costs.

Suitest will demonstrate its latest AI-based hardware, software, and cloud test solutions at IBC2026, Sept. 11-14 in Amsterdam in stand 14.A66. For more information, visit suite.st.
