Boland to Make European Debut of 4K55HDR7SNB Super-Narrow-Bezel Monitor at IBC2026

New 55-Inch Professional Monitor Combines Native 4K Resolution, 12G-SDI Connectivity, and a Super Narrow Bezel for Sports, Broadcast and Production Video Walls

LAKE FOREST, Calif. — Sept. 4, 2026 — Boland Communications will make the European debut of its new 4K55HDR7SNB 55-inch super-narrow-bezel professional monitor at IBC2026, Sept. 11-14 at the RAI Amsterdam. Designed for tiled video wall applications, the new display combines native 4K resolution and 12G-SDI, and optionally ST 2110, connectivity with an ultra-narrow bezel that minimizes the visible separation between adjacent screens, creating a more continuous viewing surface for sports, broadcast, and production environments. Boland will demonstrate the 4K55HDR7SNB at stand 12.C57.

Each 4K55HDR7SNB display provides native 3840 × 2160 resolution and accepts 4K signals over 12G-SDI and ST 2110, enabling facilities to maintain 4K resolution throughout the monitoring chain. Multiple units can be tiled into large-format monitor walls for applications that require operators to view multiple high-resolution sources across a single, closely integrated display surface.

The approach is particularly well suited to sports production, where control rooms and operations centers may need to monitor multiple camera feeds, program outputs, graphics, replays and other sources simultaneously. By combining native 4K resolution, 12G-SDI connectivity, and a super-narrow-bezel design, the 4K55HDR7SNB gives sports broadcasters, production teams and organizations a platform for building large monitor walls without sacrificing image detail at the individual display level.

“Sports production is one of the places where we’re seeing particularly strong demand for larger, higher-resolution monitor walls,” said Mike Boland, president of Boland Communications. “Production teams are monitoring more sources, more cameras, and more 4K content, and they still need to see everything clearly at a glance. With the 4K55HDR7SNB, we can bring native 4K and 12G-SDI to each display in a super-narrow-bezel wall, giving sports and broadcast facilities a much more capable monitoring platform.”

The 4K55HDR7SNB supports 4096 × 2160 and 3840 × 2160 formats at frame rates up to 60p and provides 12G/3G/HD/SD-SDI and HDMI 2.0 connectivity. The display supports major HDR formats, including PQ (ST 2084), Hybrid Log-Gamma and S-Log3, with brightness up to 700 nits, making the display suitable for studio environments while also delivering the brightness needed to present well on camera.

Like Boland’s other professional broadcast displays, the 4K55HDR7SNB incorporates monitoring and image-control tools including waveform, vectorscope, 3D LUT support, selectable color temperatures, Safe-Area markers, and monitoring of up to 16 de-embedded audio channels with on-screen metering. The monitors ship precalibrated and support advanced calibration workflows using Light Illusion ColourSpace and Portrait Calman.

Beyond sports production, the 4K55HDR7SNB is designed for broadcast control rooms, studios and other mission-critical production environments where operators need to view multiple high-resolution sources across a large display surface.
