Big Blue Marble Recognized as AWS Managed Services Provider

Big Blue Marble, a provider of broadcast-grade, cloud-native video solutions, has been recognized as an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Managed Services Provider (MSP). With this validation, Big Blue Marble is confirmed as a partner that supports the full lifecycle of AWS cloud environments, from planning and migration through to day-to-day operations and ongoing optimization.

The AWS Managed Services Provider (MSP) Program sets a high bar for partners responsible for running cloud environments in production. It goes beyond implementation, focusing on the ability to operate, govern, and continuously refine complex systems over time. To achieve MSP status, partners must complete a rigorous third-party audit assessing technical capabilities, operational processes, and business maturity against enterprise standards. Through the program, customers working with MSP partners can benefit from closer alignment with AWS, including access to funding programs, technical enablement, and additional support that helps accelerate cloud adoption and reduce implementation risk.

For Big Blue Marble, the MSP validation builds on nearly a decade of working with AWS and delivering cloud-based video solutions in production environments. As an AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner, and one of a limited number of companies to hold the AWS Media & Entertainment Competency certification, the company supports broadcasters, telecom operators, and content owners in designing, migrating, and operating streaming platforms at scale. This milestone reflects not only technical expertise across AWS services, but also the operational maturity required to run and evolve these systems without disrupting ongoing services. It also highlights Big Blue Marble’s ability to help organizations scale their platforms without compromising performance or cost efficiency.

“Achieving AWS MSP status reinforces our ability to support media businesses not only in moving to the cloud, but in what comes next,” said Krzysztof Bartkowski, CEO at Big Blue Marble Streaming & Cloud Media. “It is critical to focus on how platforms are run, how they scale under real demand, and how they evolve without disrupting ongoing services. Everything has to work as a continuous system, from the initial architecture through to daily operations, and Big Blue Marble delivers value across the entire lifecycle.”

For Big Blue Marble, the recognition by AWS as an MSP underscores a key advantage for its customers, giving them access to a partner whose capabilities have been rigorously validated, reducing risk and removing the need to solve the same operational challenges internally.
