Mo-Sys, the world-leading developer of virtual production, camera robotics and image tracking technology, has completed a business restructuring, which has included a move to a stunning new facility in Canada Water, the high-tech business district of London. A key part of the new organisation is the promotion of Selin Kemal to the new role of managing director, working alongside company founder Michael Geissler who remains as CEO.
The move to the Canada Water building has allowed Mo-Sys to fulfil a long-held ambition, the creation of a hybrid presentation theatre using the best of modern technology – including Mo-Sys robotics and virtual production – as a flexible host venue. The flagship space, which has room for up to 120 delegates as well as comprehensive production equipment – will be used for high-impact corporate communications, live events and global broadcast.
“Mo-Sys technology has made a huge impact in television and film production, and that will continue to be our major focus,” said Michael Geissler, CEO of Mo-Sys. “What we are demonstrating in our new communications centre is that the same systems also have a key role to play in the corporate world, delivering high production values for launches, investor presentations and town halls, within a protected and confidential space.”
The three-story building provides space for Mo-Sys product development, engineering and administration, but the eye-catching element is the double height meeting and production space, combining immersive LED walls, extended projection, real-time augmented reality processing, multi-camera broadcast production and high-capacity live streaming capability. For productions and events, the building also has green room spaces and an extensive roof terrace.
“I want to reassure all who rely on our technology around the world and in every sector that our restructuring means we will continue to be there for you, and we will continue to innovate,” Geissler added. “A key part of that is the promotion of our commercial director, Selin Kemal, to managing director. Many will know her from the pivotal role she has played in the company to date, and her strength and wisdom will continue to guide us.
“Appointing Selin as managing director frees me up to focus on new innovations and new concepts, like creating a state-of-the-art communications facility in our headquarters,” Geissler continued. “By making our new home in the heart of London’s modern business district, we have the opportunity to offer something special to the community: a living and evolving demonstration of what modern corporate communication can become: immersive, broadcast quality, globally connected, commercially accessible and world-leading.”
As well as hosting commercial in-room and remote corporate productions, the comprehensive facilities will also act as a lab in which new concepts can be proven. The first major event in the new Mo-Sys presentation theatre will be a TEDx event in October 2026, welcoming approximately 120 guests on site while streaming to a global audience.
Selin Kemal, now managing director of Mo-Sys, said “We are moving forward with renewed strength and clear ambition. That means maintaining our reputation as the most innovative developer of technologies in our sector and delivering the key products that power the creative drive, wherever it comes from. In our new home we can showcase all of our unique products in a practical environment that delivers real benefit for our corporate neighbours, and our film and television users around the world.”
