LAS VEGAS, JUNE 2, 2026 – A subsidiary of Neutrik AG, including the NEUTRIK®, REAN®, and CONTRIK® brands, and the leading supplier of robust and reliable professional AVL connectivity solutions, Neutrik Group Americas, will present an in‑depth training session at InfoComm 2026. Designed to equip attendees with foundational knowledge of AV connector standards, system performance, and best‑practice termination techniques, the session, titled “AV Connectors – From Setting Standards to System Performance,” will take place on Wednesday, June 17, from 2:30 to 4:30 PM in Room W203/W204.
As part of InfoComm’s Pro Training program, participants will earn two Certification Renewal Units (CRUs) applicable toward CTS, CTS‑D, and CTS‑I certifications, making this session a valuable opportunity for AV professionals seeking to advance or maintain their credentials.
Led by Brant Mathiason, Customer Solutions Engineer at Neutrik Group Americas, and assisted by Mark Boyadjian, Customer Solutions Director at Neutrik Group Americas, the course introduces participants to the history, evolution, and engineering behind NEUTRIK’s industry‑standard connector families. Attendees will learn how to identify the wide range of connector types used across professional audio, video, lighting, broadcast, networking, and power applications.
The training also provides a guided overview of the components that make up NEUTRIK’s connector systems and introduces the company’s new FAST (Fit, Attach, Secure, Test) 4‑step termination workflow. Developed in collaboration with Neutrik’s Systems Integrator and Tech/Trade School partners, FAST gives students a simple, memorable structure for mastering proper termination practices. The workflow walks participants through cable preparation, solder and crimp techniques, strain‑relief fundamentals, and final validation. Each stage includes a hands‑on skills check, giving attendees practical experience in achieving reliable, repeatable terminations in the field.
“Connectors are the backbone of every AVL system, yet they’re often the least understood component,” says Mathiason. “This session gives technicians and integrators the knowledge they need to make informed decisions, improve system reliability, and elevate their craft.”
Admission is included with an Essentials Pass, Premier Pass, or Pro Training Pass, and seating is available on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
