Hitomi Broadcast Presents UK Debut of MatchBox Panorama at MPTS 2026

New software platform delivers comprehensive timing measurement across production workflows

Hitomi Broadcast is proud to unveil the UK debut of MatchBox Panorama at MPTS 2026, showcasing a revolutionary visualisation platform that integrates latency and timing data from across production networks. This cutting-edge system will be on display at the Media Production and Technology Show (MPTS) (stand J37, Olympia London, 13 – 14 May 2026), providing a unique opportunity to see how the MatchBox technology has evolved to optimise complex production environments.

As the global standard in point-to-point latency and lip sync measurement, MatchBox continues to lead the way in broadcast timing solutions. The new MatchBox Panorama takes this a step further, offering engineers a unified view of timing measurements from across their entire infrastructure. By centralising this information, MatchBox Panorama allows users to see measurements from multiple locations in one user interface, providing a view that makes it easier to identify latency sources and speed up the process of aligning complex production setups. This ensures that lip sync errors, which can severely disrupt viewer experience, are kept to a minimum.

“MatchBox Panorama represents a massive leap forward for production synchronisation,” said Russell Johnson, COO at Hitomi. “This system helps production teams optimise their workflows with precision, reducing the time it takes to align feeds and ensuring that even the most complex remote productions deliver the high-quality viewing experience audiences expect.”

MatchBox’s timing measurements use a proprietary audio and video test pattern, which can be generated via the MatchBox Generator or captured through the MatchBox Glass iPhone app, making it versatile for different production environments. The new Panorama platform adds a crucial feature: the ability to place data probes anywhere within the signal chain, enabling engineers to pinpoint precisely where latency is being introduced and simplifying the process of optimisation.

MatchBox Panorama is also offered with global site licenses, making it an ideal solution for organisations with multiple locations, and features a simple, lightweight cluster of docker containers that ensures efficient deployment across a variety of environments.

While MatchBox Panorama is a standalone software solution, it is also designed to integrate seamlessly into larger production environments. It has already been successfully tested within the Grass Valley AMPP ecosystem, with further partnerships to be announced soon.

Join Hitomi Broadcast at MPTS 2026 to discover how MatchBox Panorama can enhance your production workflows and ensure optimal timing across your infrastructure. For more details, visit the team at Stand J37 or find out more at hitomi.tv.
